Dubai and a Bit of Everything

Economic boom, pollution, skyscrapers, traffic jams, nightlife, inflation, a destination for international tourists and the list goes on. But if you live in Dubai these days, you can’t help but to think about the latest twist. The rubbery at Wafi Center. A well organized rubbery involving jamming 2 cars into the front of a store in a shopping mall, snatching millions of dollars in jewelry, driving the cars into the parking lot and setting them with fire. The rubbers were not caught as of yet. Images of the movie Heat comes to mind. Stories that were once heard of in large metropolitan cities such as New York and London are coming to Dubai. An isolated event or a trend to watch out for is anyone’s guess.

In general, Dubai and the UAE are considered one of the safest places in the region. I hope it continues to be as such.
