What is Smart Cane?

The idea of the device

Depends on ultrasound to detect objects and identify their places. The device simply has an ultrasonic sensor that sends and receives ultrasound. So if there is a purpose or obstacle in the road, these waves are reflected and the sensor detects the device and alerts the user through vibrations similar to the vibration of the mobile phone.

 Benefits of using the device

1. The device helps detect obstacles and objects that can’t be detected with a white stick such as: tree branch - the lower part of the vehicle - ropes suspension clothes – etc
2. The device can detect objects up to three meters (long-term) when used outdoors and building, and up to 1.8 meters (short-term) when used indoors
