The Red Crescent of the UAE offered Nokia mobile phones equipped with Talks software to 90 blind users in the UAE with coordination with the Emirates Society for the Rehabilitation of the Blind. The 90 beneficiaries are members of ESRB. They were surprised with the valuable gifts which was delivered to them by His Highness Sheikh Sager AlQasimi.

The event was covered by the UAE main media outlets which stated that this is the first phase of many other phases to come in an effort to provide blind people in the UAE with the latest and the best adaptive technology available in order for them to cope gain the utmost privacy and independence in using standard communications technology.
